All the rooms are maintained very well. There is cleaning people who come by everyday to check everything.

***DON'T STAY HERE!!! Absolutely unsanitary awful disgusting! The rooms are not cleaned before re-issued. Female hair all over the pillow cases & bed sheets, drool or sweat marks on bed sheets, makeup or who knows what else on the towels (I have pics), food in fridge, trash in room etc. Billeting changed the bed sheets with other dirty sheets after I asked!!! More hair & nasty markings all over the sheets and tried to tell me they were clean!!! ABSOLUTELY UNSANITARY!!! I never saw the decent looking rooms they show on this website. Not sure what building that was. But I stayed in B466.

If you have to stay here, bring SHOWER shoes, bed sheets/blanket, toliet paper, towels, and lots of cleaning supplies :-/

Retired Army...I stay here when I want to get away from everything. Friendly service, clean and inexpensive quarters. Love this place.

MACS Johnson (Retired)

Absolutely horrible accommodations. I am a retired MACS who has stayed in military accommodations around the world to include half shells while deployed with Marines and this was the worst. I was greeted in the entry to the room by a flat sticky bug trap covered in spiders and roaches. Still being optimisic I went into my room and set uo camp only to leave 3 hours later with burning eyes and unstoppable sneezing. In almost 50 years I have never been allerfic to anytjing, but Fort Picket Lodging broke that streak. I should have known that when I arrived at the billeting office and noticed two large signs at the beginning of the sidewalk stating, "No Smoking Beyond This Point" and at the same time seeing the desk clerk standing on the step at the entrance smoking and talking on her cell ohone that I was going to be in for a treat. All I know is the Installation Commander cannot be aware of the condition his/her lodging facilities are iin. If he/she is aware then they ahould be embarrassed.

Water comes out brown, rooms stink (horrible air), old 1900 barracks, bugs, animals etc.

So my brother and his friend are staying there for 11 weeks for lineman school. My brother was fortunate enough to get a big room. Very nice, kinda like his own apt.

Buildings are also not secure. My room key opened up the building & all other rooms as well.
